I received this as a gift, and to be honest, I wasn’t too sure about it. I had friends who had raved about it, but I just didn’t think it’d be necessary. Well, about a week into motherhood, that changed. I realized that little babies get congested pretty easily and that little blue bulb I got at the hospital wasn’t doing diddly! It was too big to even fit in that teeny, tiny nostril!
So I pulled out my NoseFrida for a try. Girls, it’s awesome! It really works, and we have been using it ever since. We even travel with it-don’t leave home without it! Paired with a few Little Noses Saline Drops, and it’s amazing how much I can clear out for my little guy. One or two quick sucks on each nostril, and he can breathe so much better.
I know some of you are probably grossed out right about now. But don’t be. I promise, sucking snot isn’t as gross as it sounds. There’s a filter (aka snot blocker) that keeps the snot and germs away from you. So it’s totally hygienic.
Not only is this a must have for babies, it’s something that is useful as they get bigger. We still use it regularly, and my little guy is almost 2. He can blow his nose, but if he’s got a cold or his allergies are acting up, he just can’t get out all that snot to end his stuffiness. He knows the NoseFrida helps. At night, if his nose is stuffy, he’ll actually ask for me for the Nose Frida. And it’s hilarious because he knows exactly how it works…he even tries to “operate” it on himself and on mommy and daddy. I see several more years of use with our NoseFrida!
It’s horrible when your baby can’t breathe. They can’t sleep, can’t eat and are just plain miserable. Some days you’ll do just about anything to make them feel better. So head over to BuyBuyBaby or get online (Amazon, Target, Babies R Us) and buy one. I promise it’s worth every single penny of the 15 dollars that you’ll spend!
